The Pravish Rajnam Journal of Studies (P-ISSN 2348 3652) is an peer reviewed, open access journal, exclusively for research based - academic papers / research based - industrial reports.

Pravish Rajnam - Journal of Studies’ is a humble effort to come out with an affordable option of a low cost high quality publication journal, at no profit no loss basis, with the objective of primarily helping young researchers though as well as seasoned academicians to show their original research and other works to the world at large besides fulfilling their academic aspirations.   

The aim of the ‘Pravish Rajnam - Journal of Studies’ is to cover all areas where ever applications of human ingenuity with reference to decision making ability / managerial skills and knowledge are applied to obtain results in order to achieve success. The journal being bi-annual is published twice every year (i.e. in months of January and July every year).  \

Pravish Rajnam Journal of Studies is an “open access journal”, with immediate effect from 1st December 2023, whereby “the copyright holder of the scholarly work - grants usage rights to others - using an open license (Creative Commons or equivalent)”.

This allows for immediate free access to the work and permits any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose.

THE PROCESS FOR SELECTION AND SUBSEQUENT PUBLICATION OF PAPER

​

  1. On receipt of RESEARCH PAPER it is passed to competent subjects / technical experts for review.

  2. On receipt of atleast two experts comments, which takes atmost 3 to 4 days, the author(s) are informed about their views, suggestions and changes needed to be incorporated therein.

  3. On author(s) re-submission of paper, after incorporating changes as desired and on submission of 'ACTION TAKEN REPORT', if experts accept it, then only paper will be included for publication in forthcoming issue of the journal. 

  4. In any case, decision of the journal technical committee, will be final and biding for all. No deviation will be permitted henceforth.

  5. In case of dispute liability is limited to return of fees, in any received / deposited, subject to condition if publication is yet to take place and if published then no return of fees, if any, deposited.    

  6. Papers selected for publishing will have to limit pages per paper to ten A4 size pages per paper. Where number of pages are more than ten A4 size pages, the permission of editorial board / academic research committee is to be obtained. Their decision will be final. 

  7. For paper, plagiarism acceptance range will be comfortably up to 10%, at most up to 13% under special circumstances but not to exceed 15% in any case. Papers having beyond 15% will be out rightly rejected without any further communication. 

  8. Only after completion of these procedures and on receipt of 'ORIGINALITY CERTIFICATE' stating that the paper submitted is the author(s) original research based work and 'CERTIFICATE OF PAPER NOT BEING PUBLISHED ELSEWHERE OR SEND FOR PUBLICATION ELSEWHERE' stating that paper submitted is not published already and it is neither submitted elsewhere for publication, will a paper be finally considered for publication.

  9. On acceptance of the paper for publication, the author(s) will have to give an undertaking, that on acceptance and subsequent publication of the paper in the journal, it will not be re-send for review and subsequent publication elsewhere.

  10. If on any subsequent future date if any query, of any sort, is received against the paper, then management reserves the right to de-listed and removed the paper from the journal, even though published, without any communication and liability. Management also reserves the right to not provide any reason for the same.

ETHICAL EXPECTATIONS FOR PUBLICATION

EXPECTATIONS FROM THE EDITORS / REVIEWERS / PUBLISHERS

  1. They are expected to act in a unbiased, fair and balanced manner during their process of working.

  2. They are required to work within time framework allotted.

  3. They are required to maintain confidentiality of the paper being submitted for evaluation.

  4. They are required to consider the papers purely on their merits like originality, quality research work, value towards society, etc.

  5. They are required to give the author(s) due scope for correction and re-submission of the work as per suggestions provided to them.

  6. They are to maintain internationally established and accepted paper publication standards.

EXPECTATIONS FROM THE PAPER AUTHOR(S)

  1. Author(s) are required to properly maintain documentation, of work executed by them, while carrying out the research as stated in the paper submitted.  

  2. Author(s) should not send the work which had already been published either in their name or somebody else name.

  3. Author(s) should not send the work which had been already been send elsewhere also for review and subsequent publication.

  4. Author(s) are not supposed to re-send the paper for review and subsequent publication in some other journal or elsewhere.

  5. Author(s) are required to submit only original piece of work actually carried out by them personally.

  6. Authors should ensure that they have obtained all necessary permissions from all individuals, bodies, organizations, etc. where ever deemed necessary.  

  7. Author(s) are required to cooperate with reviewers / editors / publishers for any correction(s) / addition(s) as deemed necessary.

  8. Author(s) are also supposed to inform in advance of any likely conflict of interests possible.

GUIDELINES FOR PAPER CONTRIBUTORS

• The contribution must be original, neither published nor under consideration for publication anywhere else.

• The cover page should contain the title of the paper, author’s name, designation, official address, contact phone, email address. The next page should contain an abstract of not more than 150 words along with five key words.

• The main text should not contain the authors name or affiliation. The face sheet should contain a declaration by the author(s) stating that the article/ research paper has not published or not been submitted or accepted for publication by any other journal, magazines or book publishing houses.

• The manuscripts should normally be of around 2500 - 3000 words (10 - 12 pages). For work of bigger size permission is to be obtained from board / publishers.

• The authors should submit one hard copy, one soft copy (CD – MS word format) of the manuscript for publication typed in double spaced, time new roman, 12 font size leaving 1.5 inch margin on all sides on A- 4 paper. Moreover, the contribution should be send as an email attachment to pravish123@gmail.com

• Typescripts should be typed on one side of the sheet. Figures, tables, graph or chart should appear soon after the text and numbered numerically with appropriate headings. PLEASE MAKE YOUR OWN GRAPHS / TABLES /ETC. AND DO NOT SEND GRAPHS / TABLES / ETC. DIRECTLY DOWNLOADED FROM INTERNET.

• All notes are indicated by a serial number by using foot notes in the text.

• Follow British spellings throughout: ‘programme’ not ‘program’, organisation’ not ‘organization, ‘behaviour’ not ‘behavior’.

• Follow APA style of referencing and the same can be put at the end of the manuscript. For example;

Book: Moon, C (1994), “Changing Pattern of Business – Government Relations in South Korea”, Tata Mc Graw Hill, New Delhi.

Journal: Kaur, Harvinder, (2004), “Time Varying Volatility in the Indian Stock Market”, Vikalpa, Vol.22, No.3, pp.52-60.

Website: Complete address with URL, along with date of accessing the website.
